Architectural projects for the establishment of the National Museum of Natural History in the area of the ex-Macelli in Florence. At the centre of the area, in counterpoint to the symmetry of the existing pavilions, a hub with new facilities is placed, destined to offer services for the neighbourhood, with new rotating, broken and asymmetrical geometric shapes, connected to wider urban matrices, so as to configure a comprehensive planivolumetric solution made of stratifications, overlappings, corrections, accumulations, dissonances and a new organic coherence. The adjacent railway bed is also involved, and the aim is to destine it to a stop in a system of urban and regional transport.
