The composition of the volumes in primary geometrical shapes – triangle, semi-cylinder, trapezoidal prism – aim at a symbolic monumentalisation of the structure through the redundant excess of their dimensional “out of scale”, of their deliberately rough and non-harmonic juxtaposition, in order to represent both the power and the tension of the internal relationships. Through the conciliation and friction at the same time of counterposed “figures” made of material masses and light glazed structures, as well as of separate objects and of tie-rods, the resulting architecture expresses the aim of an effect and an image representing a strong urban density and meaning.
