The general project identifies two essential themes: an architecture of the station as an urban function whose specific characteristics are the intensity and heterogeneity of human circulation; and the proposal for a peace park in the adjacent area, as indispensable premise for the credibility of any future project: for this reason the pure square symbolises the universal nature of the will, it is an enclosure for those specific activities of humans which intrinsically determine this indispensability.
